Florida Covid-19 Update 4-13-2020 New Cases

Thank You for Caring!
The Restaurants Got Hundreds of Easter Orders
Our Employees Thank You!

Notes around Clearwater Beach and Sand Key More restaurants have closed completely. Let’s hope they re-open someday. The National Restaurant Association says as many as 70,000 restaurants could close PERMANENTLY across the country. What little help there is, hasn’t arrived for most.
There were no traffic jams for Easter and the white sands of Clearwater Beach were empty on one of the traditionally busiest weekends of the year. Police are everywhere on the beach! They outnumber the people! Of course, there is nothing going on anywhere – hopefully, they can spend more time at the beach when things go back to normal!
The restaurants we saw open for take out only were The Tropix, Taco Bus, Coco Coronado, Beach Fyre, Saltwater and Gondolier! That was it! On Sand Key, Backwaters is the only healthy option for dinner!     IS THIS A BLIP? OR……
Have we reached the peak?
Here is a the latest daily chart of infections in Florida through April 12th. I don’t know about you, but this looks promising to us –

The numbers look encouraging, but among those numbers are the deaths in Florida that have reached 461 as of this morning (4-13-2020) It’s sad, but it could be much worse. Half of those who passed have come from the three county region around the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale corridor. Those same three counties account for over half of the almost 20,000 confirmed cases of the corona-virus.

While all counties in Florida now report cases, the are 18 counties that have under 10 cases.
