Maggie Mae's Crabcakes Made Simple
Crabcakes are a favorite year round seafood. Here is one from Backwaters on Sand Key in Clearwater,Florida.
- 1 1/2 lbs Blue crab meat or jumbo lump crab meat cooked
- 2 ea eggs
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup Mayonaise
- Beat eggs lightly. Add to other ingredients EXCEPT CRAB MEAT in a large bowl.
- Mix ingredients togther and gently add crab meat. Fold until mixed.
- In a medium hot skillet with tablespoon of butter and tablespoon of vegetable oil, brown each crabcake and serve with Cajun mustard.
