
Garlic Honey Florida Shrimp
Florida shrimp can be purchased at any Florida seafood shop. There are several species. We prefer Key West Pinks, but whits shrimp from the Gulf will work perfectly. Also, if you can find some Tupelo honey from Florida, the recipe would be perfect!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
- 2 tsp grated galic from t4 cloves or very finely chopped
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lemon juice from one lemon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 32 ea Jumbo shrimp, raw peeled, deveined
- 1 tsp parsely chopped
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a non-stick pan over medium high heat.
- Add garlic and stir for a few secinds to season the butter.
- Add the honey and soy sauce, stirring constantly. Sauce should thicken slightly to cover the back of a spoon. Shouldn't take more than a minute or two.
- Add lemon juice and salt and stir in.
- Reserve half of the mixture in a bowl for serving.
- Add the shrimp. Stir constantly until the shrimp turn pink, but are still translucent in the center. Total of about three minutes.
- Add the reserved honey mixture for about 30 seconds.
- Pour shrimp into a serving dish. Garnish with scallions or parsely and lemon wedges.
- Serve with rice and/or hush puppies.
Notes
This Honey Garlic Florida Shrimp recipe is a generous serving for four people can easily be doubled or reduced to half.
