Wild, Wonderful Florida Festivals
It’s doubtful any other state has more festivals, events, fairs and shows than Florida. We have festivals for swamp cabbage, crabs, catfish, crawfish and Shakespeare. Our events are as diverse as the population. The locations range from towns of a few hundred people to one of the biggest cities in the country. They stretch from the far reaches of the panhandle to the southernmost point in the Keys. That’s over 800 miles and 12 hours by land.
Here are a few of our upcoming favorite festivals.
Sunfest, West Palm Beach, April 28 – May 1, 2022
Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival, Fernandina
Beach, April 29-May 1, 2022
This takes place on Amelia Island in northeast Florida. Lot’s to see and do on the island.
Fort Lauderdale Air Show, Fort Lauderdale, April 30-May 1, 2022
Tupelo Honey Festival, Wewahitchka, May 21, 2022
We are pretty sure most people don’t know where Wewahitchka is. It’s very close to Sumatra and Lynn Haven. Seriously, close to Panama City Beach in the panhandle.

Also home to the Stephen Foster Folk Center in north Florida.

This is one of the largest boat shows in the world. Plenty of marine vendors.
Micanopy Fall Festival, October 29-30, 2022, Micanopy, Florida
An old John Anderson song helped this town become famous. Antiques and native American history here.
Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival, November 4,5,6, 2022, Pensacola

Downtown Gainesville Festival & Art Show, November 19-20, 2022, Gainesville
