Hurricanes Forces Several Rebuilds at Flora-Bama

Flora-Bama has rebuilt, repaired and patched up many times after storms like Ivan and Michael. Their multi-level buildings, bars and beach huts can serve thousands of people.

For a facility of this size, they do have access to food served at counters from several locations on the property. You can always go to their website to get on a waitlist for a more formal seated section — while you are partying on the beach. Pretty fancy system for a Florida dive bar.

If you go – as you leave Pensacola heading west, there is a turnoff for State Rt. 292 which is Barrancas Ave. Follow that for several miles towards the beach.

The road will turn into Perdido Dr and Flora-Bama is located at 17401 Perdido Key Dr, Pensacola, FL 32507.
